CANTILEVER AND DRILL FLOOR SKIDDING
Cantilever Skidding Systems, offered by Friede & Goldman, Ltd., provide proven and reliable methods for jacking the cantilever from its storage position to its operational position and back. The two skidding units are mounted to main deck foundations, on the inside of the cantilever beams. The Cantilever Skidding System is powered hydraulically by two large cylinders acting on each cantilever beam.
