The F&G ExD design is an ideal rig for operations in worldwide moderate environments, South & East China Sea, West Africa, Gulf of Mexico, and Brazil for instance, in water depths up to 3,050 meters. To date, 9 ExD semi-submersible drilling units have been constructed and delivered, with 5 more in fabrication.
