The moonpool handling on the ExD semisub consists of a BOP transporter, a riser trolley (for hanging off riser string off center), a transverse skidding system and a transverse BOP crane.
The riser management on the 7500M Drillship can be horizontally stored or vertically racked. The horizontal storage incorporates a gantry crane (with stabilizers and insert tools) and a Riser Skate system. Further improvements can be made by adding tailing functions at the drillfloor.
